About Sunup Stars
Sunup Stars is a friendly little ritual: every morning at 7:00 AM Eastern, all twelve zodiac signs are ranked from 12th to 1st, each with a lucky color and a lucky item.
How the ranking works
The ranking isn't made up. Each morning we read the real positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets and measure the angles they make to every sign. The Moon moves fastest, so it drives most of the day-to-day change; the slower planets set the background mood. Those angles add up to a score, and the scores decide the order.
Because it's built from the actual sky, everyone sees the exact same ranking on the same day — there's no personalization and nothing random about who lands where.
Sunny
Sunny is our sun mascot. Sunny wakes up when you reveal the ranking and reacts to where your sign lands — over the moon at #1, a little sheepish at 12th, where they hand you a rescue charm to turn the day around.
A note on fun vs. fact
Sunup Stars is for entertainment. It's a cheerful way to start the day, not advice for real decisions about health, money, relationships, or anything else that matters. Please enjoy it in that spirit.
